Our Mission

The International Cooking Groups in cooperation with the Haitian families of our school invite you to help us raise enough funds to rebuild at least one school in Haiti.  Our goal is to raise at least € 8000.

We have been fortunate enough to get the full support of the founder, Michael Reynolds from Earthship Biotecture (www.earthship.org).  He in turn contacted the Discovery Channel and they want to follow this project.

How can you help?

Book Drive: We are asking for French and English books to fill libraries.  Act2Aid, one of the secondary student groups is looking to take your donations. Bake Sales: We are organising a bake sale at the Open Day, February 6, 2010:  Do you want to donate some cupcakes, etc?  Do you want to help sell? Auction: We want to organise an auction.  Have anything (new) at home that you want to get rid of?  Have any talent you want to donate (babysitting hours, dinner party for 6, cocktail party for 8, week at your vacation home, air miles, sweater from your mother-in-law, handbag you never use, etc.).  Nothing is too little or too big. Sponsor Run and Sponsor Swim: The children hope to persuade our school to let them get their Hearts Beating for Haiti.  Hopefully,  the gym teachers and primary teachers will organise a week where each child can make their personal contribution to the Heart for Haiti fund by running laps around the gym or swimming laps at the de Beeck.
